Promote appreciation and knowledge of the fiber arts in our community through demonstrations at schools, fairs and other community events.
Provide a support network for fiber artists and enthusiasts in our area.
Keep the fiber arts alive by encouraging others to take up spinning and weaving.
Support local fiber-related causes.
Meetings and Dues:
Our guild meets on the second Saturday of each month. Meetings run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with business conducted between 11:00 a.m. and noon, and often a learning event after lunch.
Dues are $25.00 per year. Membership runs from January to December. Send dues to: Doris Woloszyn at P.O. Box 229 Chilcoot, CA 96105, and make checks payable to Carson Sierra Spinners & Weavers.
We welcome members at all levels of expertise, including beginners who are simply interested in learning more about fiber arts.
Those who think they may be interested in joining are invited to attend a meeting as a guest.
