January 9th Minutes

Introductions were followed by Committee Reports

Treasurer's Report: Do we want to keep Davis Creek Park as our meeting place for our September retreat? Due to the increase in cost, it was suggested that we might want to look into alternatives for holding our annual retreat at other places. Most all agreed that we enjoyed Davis Creek park, and that other areas would be just as expensive. We agreed to pay for the reservation. Dues are due now, $25 per member. There was no Fair report.

Learning Tree: Mim suggested we bring our fiber prep tools for the February meeting, along with any fiber you want processed, so we could go over fiber prep and color blending.
Weave Study Group: No meeting until the 3rd Saturday, and the meeting would be held at Linda Lindsay's house in Stagecoach.

Old Business:
The Stephanie Gaustad workshop will be held at Sky Peaks on March 20, 21. Cost to be determined.

New Business: Nancy and Allison suggested we start a scholarship fund, this was met with agreement.
